| Dual beam combiner | Our Dual Beam Combiner merges the output of two laser diodes into a collimated, co-linear beam. To achieve this merge, we employ a polarizing beamsplitter in a reverse configuration. Two beams enter the beamsplitter and emerge as a single beam. |
| IQ4 Fiber-coupled laser diode modules | Our IQ4 will accommodate most fiber-coupled 14-pin butterfly, DIP, and DIL packages. These package types allow users to incorporate DFB laser diodes, as well as those originally intended only for telecommunication applications, into the compact housing of the IQ4. The diodes can then be used for any number of applications, including fluorescence, spectroscopy, interferometry, high-resolution printing, display, and microscopy. |

A Option:
Aperture |
An aperture is a stop placed on the end of a laser module to block parts of the beam. The result is a projected spot that is circular in nature. The A option is compatible with the following modules: ACM, APM, IQ1A, IQ1C, PM, PMT, PPM, and SPM. |
| C Option: Beam Centering |
Involves moving the laser diode in relation to the lens to center the beam at a customer-specified distance. C option is available for the following modules: PM, PMT, PPMT, SPM, and SPMT. |
| D Options: Digital Control | Enables modules to interface directly with computerized or electronic control circuits. |
| E Option: External Fan Switch | Used to disable a laser's fan, resulting in less optical noise. Available for APM, APMT, PPM, and PPMT modules. The addition of this option negates the diode warranty. |
| F Option: Fiber Coupling | Used to couple a laser's output into a fiber optic. Single and multimode fibers available. |
| G Option: Glass Optics | Variety of choices. Offer anti-reflection coatings and focal lengths from 2 to 30mm. |
| H Option: Heat Sink | Used to cool the laser diode when the ambient temperature is too high. When the diode generates too much internal heat, the heat sink dissipates heat away from it. Two versions available: standard model and one that enables users to incorporate a fan into their unit. Both models are suitable for any module with a diameter less than 19mm. |
| K option: Kapton tape |
Used to isolate the laser module case electrically when mounting. |
| L Option: Line Generation | A variety of even intensity and cylindrical line generating optics to choose from. |
| MB Option: Mounting Brackets | Brackets for precise mounting of your laser module |
| N Option: No Drive Electronics |
Enables you to purchase a module without drive electronics and, therefore, without a laser diode warranty. Option N does not provide any cost savings for users. |
| R Option: Report Options | Provides data regarding wavefront quality, M2 value, and beam divergence. Option R3 includes beam scan graphic. R4 provides graphical representation of wavelength as measured on an optical spectrum analyzer. R5 option is a polarization mark placed on the case of the module showing the polarization vector. |
| S Option: PM Module Switch |
Available for PM module only. Includes an LED on the indicator and provides an easy way for you to turn a laser on or off. Please note that this device is not CDRH certified. |
| T Option: Telescope Collimators | Used to reduce, enlarge, or collimate output beams |
| W Option: Inhibit |
A circuit that allows users to inhibit laser power temporarily from a remote location. |
| X Option: Adjustment Pot | Wide range of electronic control adjustments that you can make toa laser. |
